As a kid, I had some favorite meals that my mom would make and when asked what I wanted for dinner, this was often at the top of my list. She sautéed hamburger (yes, I ate meat as a kid) with onions and added cream of mushroom and cream of celery soup to it, put it on top of rice and served it with corn or green beans.
Before finding out I was a celiac, I used other meat replacements to copy her recipe, but all those meat substitutes are made with gluten. Today I had to stop into Super 1 Foods to check my stock there, and ran across this Beyond Meat. I decided to try making that family dish with it tonight, and oh my was it ever good!
